CHILD AVATARS: SECOND LIFE KIDS 02/15/2012

To be a child in Second Life can be quite liberating.
As a child avatar, you can have pure clean fun in Second Life.

I created 2 child avatars and modified them to have a different appearances yet remaining with the same names; this is something you can do with what are called, your skins and shapes; changing their form as long as they are modifiable.

These little darlings look as though they just got caught with their hand in the cookie jar.

There are even adoption agencies in Second Life where either the child or parent can post their requests and photos for an adoption.

The photo below is in a second Life Adoption Agency.
The billboards with the photo requests are on the wall.

The Baby Monkey and Little Puppy in the photo below are also forms which  a Second Life Citizen may chose to take instead of a human form.

Second Life Can Sometimes B Better Than Real Life

Being a member of Second Life Virtual Reality World in a can be more fulfilling than our Real Lives and I'll tell you why this is sometimes so for me.
The prices in Second Life are next to nothing of the cost of purchasing anything in real life, it is much easier to have all the toys and luxuries which most of us have to struggle hard for in order to obtain in real life.
The following are other perks which have kept me as a content member of this virtual world.

  • First of all, I did not have the opportunity to display my photography in my real life whereas in Second Life, I not only have owned a gallery of my own and sold my pieces but I have been acknowledged as Photographer of the Month in an online Second Life publication titled, MORE and sponsored by moolto.com

Below is the 2 page spread they gave me as Moolto's Photographer of the month.

  • I have never owned a home in real life whereas in Second Life, I began by owning a small 512 sqm plot of land and later was able to purchase a 2046 sqm plot where I placed a home for myself, another for my daughter, as well as my gallery and, even a church.

  • Today I am in my 50's and gravity has begun to take over. I accept it and in fact, DO embrace it, for along with age comes Wisdom. In Second Life I am and can remain as young as I like, provided of course that I remain alive in my real life so I can remain a member. Ha!
    • As much as I enjoy wearing quality and fashionable clothing, at my age, I would certainly look ridiculous wearing high stiletto shoes and boots or go to have implants to make my dresses fit better whereas in Second Life, I can wear any of the latest fashion trends and have as large a breast size as needed to look flattering in at next to nothing.

Come on now, you MUST agree that my Second Life Boobs are holding this dress up pretty nicely!

    • Last but not least, the love in Second Life happens quicker and is much more romantic; mostly because we do not know each other and do not have to take time getting prepared and driving to a date.

    **********************************************************

In real life, there is laundry to do, meals to plan, dishes to wash, garbage to throw out, homes to clean and cars to have serviced and so our time is very limited. Courtship and romance must be sort of penciled in until both parties can be on the same time frame.
Too bad technology hasn't advanced us far enough where we do not have to worry about time and can simply wish all of our time bandits into the cornfield, so we could have enough of it to spend and enjoy ourselves at leisure with our perspective life partner.

    Moolto: Unique Social Network

    Custom Search

Moolto is a Social Networking Site for Second Life Avatars.

Created in 2009 by Maxes Loon (i.e. Massimo), Moolto has features and format  similar to Facebook and to date has 12,978 members and growing.
You can easily create a personalized page create blogs, and interest groups, create events, share photos  and media with other members, chat in private or chat rooms with other members.
Do you own a sim, a store, mall or gallery?   Need a model, greeter or floor manager for your store?  As a member of Moolto, you can place an employment opportunity listing and even advertise your property, product and services.

Moolto makes it quite simple to join and log into your account; if more convenient, you can use your Facebook, Yahoo Google or Twitter identity to initially set-up your account. Moolto displays the Create Public Profile window (below left), asks for your “Full Name”, avatar name, date of birth and an image to be used with your Profile. Displaying your gender and country of residence is optional. Click on, JOIN and you will be informed your membership request has been accepted as is awaiting approval – and you have the opportunity of cancelling it. Approval can take anything for 15-30 seconds to over an hour. Until it has been granted, the majority of the site is inaccessible but that's okay because you can then return inworld to your Second Life to enjoy yourself with your friends who are also on the grid.
Now that you have the most important information regarding Moolto...............What are you waiting for?
    Here's the link http://moolto.ning.com/
Make sure to send me (UnScene Tomorrow) a friend request once you DO join! The more, the merrier.

    Here's a quick walk through

    To Send a Friend Request
On the Main page, click on  Members page and thumbnails of all current members, with Moolto also providing a number of “Featured Members”.  Members currently logged-in to either site are indicated by a small green dot appearing alongside their name (excluding those in Moolto’s “Featured” list).
Moolto has a search feature and options to sort members alphabetically, by the newest joiners first or entirely randomly. Finally, a pair of links at the top left of the page allow you to switch between the full People list and your list of friends.

Adding a friend requires you display their Profile page (click on their name or image in the thumbnail view), and then click on ADD AS FRIEND in the options panel below their profile picture. This displays a small pop-up asking you to confirm the friendship request and which includes an option to add a personal message to the request.

You can also message people without friending them – click on the MESSAGE option along side their profile thumbnail.

Approving Friend Requests require you to click on a link which will allow you to accept or refuse the offer.
Friendship requests from other users will appear in your Dashboard and send an e-mail to you if you are not logged into the site.
