Second Life is not that different from real life regarding love and sex. Second Life avatars are born with almost all of their visual male and female anatomical parts of their bodies.

There are many shops in Second Life which cater to member's vanity; selling skins and shapes to both males and females.  Skins and shapes are 2 of the highest priced coveted items.  Not very many members chose to remain with that cartoon like Newbie Appearance.

There are many freebie stores in Second Life where new members can pick up free skins and shapes which enable them to customize their avatars until they get around to purchasing from one of the high priced well known brands.  This type of craft may be one to consider learning to make with PhotoShop or Gimp and selling on Second Life, since most members prefer to look sexy.

Sexy can bring on romance.

Dancing can be sexy also!
